Armor Plate

The ruby hued single-vineyard wine unwinds in the glass into an aromatic spectrum of red cherry, cranberry, rose petals, peonies, warm spices and forest floor. The depth in the aromas expand on the palate with fresh red fruit, floral and earth notes composed across a refined and satin structure. A vibrant and juicy mid-palate opens to a long and tense finish, defined by chalky and complex tannins and quenching freshness.

Isthmus

A deep ruby tone in the glass, the wine displays notes of black fruits and cassis over an aromatic fabric of iron, clove, graphite, cedar and balsam. Dense and layered in texture, the palate shows ripe and juicy black fruit tannins woven into a monolith of structure. Through the richness, an integrated freshness and streak of minerality invigorates the wine towards a sustained and powerful finish.

2018

Nuns Canyon Vineyard

Opening with a deep ruby robe in color, the wine unveils a contemplative nose of red cherry, blackberry and blueberry tightly woven with a floral and savory character of lavender, sage, crushed rock, and iron. Underlaid with a confidence of restraint, the wine is sleek and vertical with impressive persistence building elegantly across the palate. It finishes with saturated and refined tannin that resonates with a distinct and complex mineral vein that is characteristic of fractured basalt.
